I recently got into writing poems more again, so here is a poem that was inspired by a deep, meaningful talk on a blanket underneath the soft spring sun.
This chapter is a special piece inspired by a special person in the current chapter of my life. It was written after a special night of happiness. It’s an ode love and an attempt to capture the deep, rich, and bright feeling of love.
When a person keeps churning your mind and when your memories of them flood your conscious at whim, it’s a sign that you haven’t gotten closure with them yet.
What is it that causes your soul to flag this chapter with them as incomplete? And what remedies could possibly appease the internal upheaval which is stemming from this unfinished story?
Why can things not work out for me for once? You have perhaps asked yourself this question too, one time or another.
Nobody can outrun disappointment, frustration, bad luck, or loss. Yet, we chose how much we let these harbingers of unhappiness affect us, discourage us, and throw us off balance.
